Our featured educator of the week is Beth Thompson from Phoenix, Arizona. She has been an educator for 25 years and currently works in the Special Education Department. She has bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and physiology with a minor in health, nutrition and psychology from UCLA and a Master’s degree in education from UC Davis and was working on a second master’s degree from Washington University before family took priority. A few fun facts about Ms. Thompson is she says sleep is over rated, she flew a Blimp and threw up in the blimp and she once rode a horse upside down. Cienega High School is C2G!

The 3D Printing club is selling custom holiday ornaments for 2 and 3 dollars and proceeds will be used to support YOTO (Youth on Their Own). Stop by room 512 before and after school and during lunch. Check out what the 3D elves have been busy printing and help us spread some holiday cheer!
All Model United Nations Team members need to be at a meeting on Friday at lunch in room 403 if they wish to attend the Mesa Community College Competition in February. If you do not come to the meeting on Friday, or speak with Ms. Jones or Ms. Webb, we will assume you are no longer interested in participating. Please bring your lunch to the Friday meeting in Room 403 so we can get started right away.
Seniors: If you need assistance completing the FAFSA, come to the Cienega FAFSA Workshop on Monday December 11th in the Education Center at 5:30pm. Sign up with Mrs. Bahrychuk in the 500 house to pick up your FAFSA packet.
Muffun Monday is back next week on December 11th. Tennis club members will be selling giant muffins in your favorite flavors between the Black Box and the Student Union before school starting at 8:10 AM, so stop by and pick one up for breakfast on Monday! All proceeds this fundraiser will go to help Youth on Their Own this holiday season!
