Our featured educator of the week is Mrs. Jenny Meeker, originally from Sierra Vista. She is an English Teacher and has been an educator for seventeen years and has been at Cienega for 15 years. She received her Associates degree from Cochise College, Her Bachelors degree from the University of Arizona and her Masters degree from the University of Phoenix. Something fun you didn’t know about Mrs. Meeker is from1998-2002 She was Diamond Lil at Old Tucson Studios and also worked two years as an extra in Hollywood.
Hey Bobcats, GOT GAME? Do you think you have what it takes to beat the Cienega staff at basketball? The Diversity Alliance Club is sponsoring preliminaries for the Staff vs. Students basketball game. We are looking for 4, ten-person student teams to compete next week during PAWS. The winning team will compete against staff during the big game in October. Sign-ups will take place before school and during lunch in front of the Student Union until Monday. So get your team together and let’s see what you can do!
